yup.. either ship it via USPS or.. get the seller to ship it via fedex. at least the fedex customs will not ding u all that much. the best way is if the seller willing.. get them to put in a lower price on the customs invoice. this way you won't get taxed sooo much. if all else fails.. take a drive into the US and pick it up..
With USPS, you still pay tax (PST/GST) + $5 fee. Only other way is to have the shipment to a US address, and drive/fly it in, don't declare it, hope you don't get caught.
