Now you've got me somewhat piqued in the other direction. I'm going with a 50/34 Centaur compact on this build to also try out whether the whole compact business is for me or not.

Just how precisely can you dump it after getting acclimated to the shifters? I would think the mechanism could lead to a lot of over/under shifts if heading down or up the cogs more than 2 or 3 gears.

And if I understand Campy's new Escape mechanism correctly, the shifter supports +/- 2 cogs on the upshift/downshift, correct?
