Bikes: Custom Mercier - Velo'v - Peugeot FG conversion

OK, first of all, it has a vertical dropout which makes it difficult to adjust the chain tension. Second, many track hubs are designed with a 120 mm hub spacing (although it is possible to put in spacers granted the axle is big enough to fit). The current hub on the bike probably uses a Freehub cassette, if that were the case, converting it to a singlespeed would be a cinch if you used this http://www.jensonusa.com/store/produ...rsion+Kit.aspx and this: http://www.jensonusa.com/store/produ...ingleator.aspx As far as fixed gear is concerned. It's not impossible, but it would take work, and a couple of headaches.
