Learn to do the work yourself, i recently began to do my derailleur adjustments (i got a book on bike mechanic'ing) and adjusting the derailleur is so unbelievably easy (and almost fun) that i cant believe i ever payed someone to do it.

Every piece of work i have ever done that i have been hesitant about doing has always turned out that way. I love bleeding brakes and honestly dont think anyone else could do it for me since i have my own personal preference on the pull distance (my brakes dont have an adjusting knob for lever pull).
