Thats very very poor service. Im lucky that my LBS is very good. Last year when I got my new bike they even fitteed it for free which included having to change the stem about 3 times. Which was also free by the way. Every time I go there I get 15% off. So hopefully one of your LBS will have the service and care that so many seem to be lacking.
