My SRAM Force experience is from a short spin that a bike shop I frequent let me take, just to play with the new toy. I don't know that with more miles it wouldn't supplant Shimano in my own hierarchy, or if it would come in a close second.
after spending february through early may on a rival equipped bike, i went back on my 10spd DA bike.
originally, it took about a week to get used to the SRAM hoods, but then I was fine. when returned to the DA bike, it took a few rides to readjust. yesterday i was riding my 8spd ultegra bike. that... was not a pleasant piece of nostalgia.
