Here's the prior quote - "I emailed Dr. Skiba from physfarm.com (he put his email address in another thread) and he emailed me right back. He says people produce much higher power running. Someone's threshold cycling power generally will be 1/2-2/3 of their threshold running power."

I assume that's because running is using more and larger muscle groups
