I know. Imagine my feeling. They kept saying they'll get here when they get here, usually within 10 business days. That's why I waited 30 calendar days; I am such the dufus.

For tracking, I asked for them to do something, *anything* to track the package; that's when the 2 promises to find out and get back to me ASAP were made (those calls never happened, either).

What I *did* get that last day was a candid confirmation that it was never true that the wheels had been shipped by their vendors, as it was admitted that my items had never even been ordered at the supplier.

As for the advice on where to get wheels, thanks for the suggestions, everyone; searches here have turned up the usual names. The one final LBS I will try is a frame-building and bike-fitting shop, with a different clientele than the average LBS. I so badly want to use a LBS, because I want to support the mom & pop shops. I am stubborn like that.
