Not dumb, you're probably right on the money here.
This is kind of what I have always been thinking, that is why its a mystery. I try to make sure I have this type of nutrition, but for some reason I am getting the cramping just the last couple weeks. The only thing that seems different is that its hotter and more humid. Should I possibly be taking in MORE electrolytes on the ride? I hesitate to drink more "sports drink" than is needed.
