Now, my FTP is between 310 and 320. And while I seldom run, I'm not in terrible running shape, and I'd have a hard, hard time cracking 6:00.
Basically, the two, in my mind, are related, but only to a certain degree. A 15:00 XC (3mi) kid I know recently got a road bike, and while he's super fit, he just can't turn the screws like I can.
So, quite simply, you can't translate from one to the other. To expect a high wattage number from a calculation based off another activity is setting yourself up for failure in a major way.
while i appreciate the humble attitude, i think you could do a 6:00 min mile a lot easier than you think. i was in a similair boat mile time wise (around 4:40). i really don't run that much, if at all now, and i can churn out a 6:00 minute mile like it is nothing. i did a 5:17 indoor track run just a few months ago when it was snowy out. truly, i don't think this would be that hard for you. i bet you can run a 5:30 right now, no problem.
