Umm I was looking at a replacement for a Roubaix Comp earlier this year. They were going to offer me a new expert/pro level frame for about $1145, or so they estimated, since they didn't have any stock in at the time and weren't expecting any for at least a month. I think that frameset usually runs around $1700 MSRP.

I wound up just getting a deal on an S-works frame from a dealer for immediate gratification (and without losing the rest of my racing season waiting and hoping for Specialized to come through).

It seems to depend on what they have sitting around and what they sold the last batch for and how much they'd let you upgrade or switch models (e.g., a friend of mine got crash replacement for an S-works Allez, but since they don't make that level Allez anymore, he got a Pro Tarmac frame for a price he couldn't refuse--in his words).
