+1 for the Asus Eee PC. I have the 900 with the 9" screen and 20 GB of solid state drive (you should have gotten this one, valygirl, it finally came out a few weeks ago). It DOES have WiFi. Maybe you (xilios) are thinking it doesn't have Bluetooth which is true but that can be added as a dongle if needed so then you can use a cell phone to surf and upload onto the web. It has a built in SD card reader if that is what your camera uses. We are taking this to the Galapagos in a few weeks and I have got a 160GB Western Digital Passport portable USB hard drive to dump everyone's camera into. If it were just me I would just buy memory sticks as needed.

Depending on when you buy, Asus is also coming out soon with a 901 (slightly more power conserving, apparently) and a 1000 which has a 10" screen. The 900 fits in my handlebar bag (Orlieb medium) perfectly. The 10" would be too big.
