A minor change in law to permit cyclists to roll through stop signs (after appropriately yielding right of way) would codify common sense, and help to promote cycling.

Of course, if you have a deep-seated psychological need to stop at every stop sign, regardless of the presence of other traffic, this law would not require you to roll through. You could still come to a complete "vehicular" stop if you felt the need to do so.
Quit being daft and read what I wrote. Stop means stop for ALL classes of vehicles...and you can use your common sense, as you already do, to decide what is deemed a stop for your bicycle. Why do you need a law to use your common sense? Promote cycling my butt...don't BS me, it's all about your convenience, just like any driver.
