the freewheel is the freewheel, not an axel or a hub. It is the type of drive device that the wheelset you are looking at uses, it threads on the the drive side of the rear hub and that is what the chain goes on to drive the bike. and the wheels and tires will work fine, as long as you get the correct size axle.
