Well, the recipes do indeed say they need 3-4 cups, and they don't say to mush it up. I'm just not understanding what else would fill up a whole pie. It looks pretty easy to make, so I guess I'll just find out. But if there are 8 slices to a pie, it doesn't seem there would be more than 8 rasperries in a slice.
