That article is disappointing. Of course the guy (a nice guy BTW, I've talked to him at BV) who manages a bike shop will ride to work, as will an artist who makes little money and lives downtown. Seems like the article would do greater service if it featured stories about everyday schmoes that ride to their office buildings to work. Not to mention the fact that the paper could have shown maps of the bike paths as a means of showing people that it really is possible to get around the city quite efficiently and enjoyably on two wheels. Oh well, the author probably put the finishing touches on his article, got in his SUV and drove home by way of 7-11 for some cigs. At least it shows some of the virtues of commuting.
