Took my car to a garage where I do my own work. Brought the bike along just in case I couldn't finish before the shop closed. I haven't ridden in over a week due to a knee problem that cropped up when I switched to clipless.
As luck would have it, I hit a snag and the shop closed before I was able to finish up (struts and wheel bearings). So, I packed everything up, mounted my trusty steed and rode the ten miles home.
Hot DAYUM that was fun!

Light rain cooled me off, nice scenery, light traffic and lots of energy. I'll be using platforms until I can get a proper fitting for these pedals. Knee was kinda iffy, but I took it easy and everything was fine. I even made a side trip to the store to get groceries.
I'm hoping to get back into full-time commuting and errand-running again soon. The X-rays showed arthritis in my knee which is no surprise - 18 years in the Army does that to ya. Going back to the massage threrapist next week for more knee support work, so we'll see how it goes...
I'm looking forward to the ride back to the shop tomorrow!
