The Schwinn-approved Le Tour GT300 rear derailleur was a rebadged Shimano Crane, and was standard on the P15-9 Paramounts (triple chainrings) after 1971 and until at least 1976 because the Campy Gran Tourismo RD Schwinn had used on the 1971 P15-9 was such a piece of junk. I never had any real trouble with my GT300, but replaced it with a later Record long cage, and that resulted in significantly smoother shifts.
