I just traded in both of my crappy bikes that were hard on my knees and rear (not to mention both in need of a couple hundred dollars worth of tune up) for this 2007 Jamis Citizen Bike.

Does anyone have experience with this bike for commuting or anything else? I have begun going for longer rides on the weekend, and hope it will accommodate for my 5 mile each way commute as well as leisure/exercise rides. It does not have the fenders and bike rack and other accessories my last bike had...but the guy in the store said they were not really necessary if I plan on driving the car in the heavy rain. I am hoping it is a good one! I look forward to enjoying it on a daily basis, so far I have not had a reliable bike for commuting, now I think i do!
