Bikes: one bike for every day of the week

Given the way I abuse my bags, I don't own a Carradice nor have I made any alterations to a Carradice. However, I started repairing and altering a few backpacks, panniers, and trunk bags last fall. I'm now sewing my own custom trunk bag for the Nashbar front rack on my commuter. It will be my first from scratch project.

Given my limited experience and please take that into consideration, somebody will be able to see where the stitches used to be if they know they were there or they look real close. It is, however, likely that it will pass the 3 foot rule mentioned in the sewing forums I've frequented for advice. That is, if people won't notice your boo-boo from 3 feet away it's probably good enough.
