Bikes: 1940s Fothergill, 1959 Allegro Special, 1963? Claud Butler Olympic Sprint, Lambert 'Clubman', 1974 Fuji "the Ace", 1976 Holdsworth 650b conversion rando bike, 1983 Trek 720 tourer, 1984 Counterpoint Opus II, 1993 Basso Gap, 2010 Downtube 8h, and...

I'm easy. The bike I'm looking for has the following characteristics:

British tourist or club style bike with Sturmey-Archer 3 or 4 speed hub, ca 1947-60.
ca. 57 cm, 531 lugged frame, preferably double-butted;
and preferably not a Raleigh.
Color, ideally, would be blue with white panels (to match the white plastic mudguards), pinstriping, and cool decals.
Sturmey Archer Dynohub and lights would be nice, too.

This being difficult to find, I decided to build one myself, which I'll be showing on this forum pretty soon, I hope. It's my 1982 Trek 720 frame, to which I've added steel fenders and chain guard, Nexus 8 hub, Sanyo dynamo.... It's not on the road yet, but it's looking like a bicycle for the first time in several years. It weighs a ton, but it looks good!

Oh, and while we're at it... I'd also like a Burrows 8 Freight. I don't need one, but they are just soo coool.
