1. Ill need a new headset, including races. FSA doesn't make a 1-1/8" threaded headset or the bearing races might be compatible. What are the chances that any 1-1/8" threaded headset (I know they are rare) would use compatible bearings?

2. How do I measure the fork for the stearer tube length?

3. I know that 1-1/8" threaded headsets and forks are rare, can I just switch to a 1" by popping the races out and slamming new ones in or do I need an adapter?

Thanks for the help

You need a ruducer bushing for a 1" steerer/HS. Steerer length = headtube length + HS stack height + any spacers you use. A bit long won't hurt anything, just take up the extra with spacers.11/8" Threaded HS aren't so rare,as they were standard fare in MTB for years.
