That was a special occasion of sorts... 30lbs of fresh produce I had to get home somehow! I've since acquired a larger set of panniers, retired the milk crate, and gifted the basket to someone (it looked SO pretty on the ladies' Raleigh I fixed up for a friend ).

As for anvil... heh. I actually have one. It's really small and I use it for jewellery making. It has travelled with me on several occasions and I do have fun with people's expressions when they pick up my luggage, gasp at its weight, and ask what I have in there. "An anvil and some rocks," I reply with perfect truth...
