Nothing's worse than being lost in the middle of some mountain range, somewhere in the neighborhood of two hours from your car, with no cell phone reception... and coming up to an intersection, with neither road having a sign as to what the name of said road is.
I bought a 705 - got a pretty good deal on it. I don't use it for racing, but I do use it extensively for traveling both with and without the bicycle.
