If we want to be respected as legitimate users of the roadways, we need to start behaving as such. Those of us who try to be responsible, respectable, legal users of the roadways sometimes feel as though we are bashing our heads against a brick wall not only because of the automobile-centric attitudes of drivers and public officials, but because of the anarchic behavior of many of our fellow-cyclists.
