In our neck of the woods, the competition is very friendly and the support for those coming in last or near last many times exceeds the support shown to the speeders finishing up front....i have only competed in two so far and had mechanical difficulties the first go round, however the heart and encouragement I see shown by even the "pros" on site has been overwhelming....
