Why do people on bike forums take themselves so seriously. I always thought the bike crowd to be a fun loving bunch until I started getting into it more. It's seems like the more people learn about cycling in whatever form, the more serious they become about everything.

I can kind of understand it from the Lance wannabes, but we ride clown bikes. How can you be serious about anything when you ride a clown bike?
