Bikes: Trek 7200

Ride home was great tonight - I would have doubled back again, but by the time I got home it was getting dark and my light, as I have mentioned, is not so much a "light" as it is a "slightly less dark". The good news is, I picked up a new cateye at the bikestation - we fished through several trek light packages with batteries included to scavenge so I could test it before I bought it, and I was really happy with it. Most of my riding so far has been on very well-lit roads and a fairly well-lit bike path, but the path has patches where the lights are down for one reason or another, and it can get pitch black before you know it. My original light was pronounced "pathetic" by everyone working at the bike station today (we'd gathered together to do the test, and it ended up in a comparison with like ten different lights laid out to try), but the cateye should help with both the seeing and being seen. It's not the verybright EL500, but it's still pretty darn bright.

I'm thinking about getting up early tomorrow and riding north for a while before I head south to work. It's supposed to be another warmish, pretty day.
