I have been drinking smoothies for breakfast. My latest thing is to add more vegetables to the fruit mixture. The green leafy mostly. I have tried Romaine lettuce, Bok choy, Mustard greens, Spinach, and even Cucumbers (pealed).
Raw fruit, raw vegetables, a great combination. Some of these green leafy vegetables have more potassium than the banana. Green leafy, I think is cheaper than bananas.
If you go to Costco, you might find a 3 pound container of dates that are pitted. Problem is that 3 lbs of dates is a whole lot of dates.
