Ok guys so I was riding my bike for a short ride today to my local bike store (they weren't open but i could not think of any better place to ride to) I was almost there and I was crossing the street to go to the bike shop BLAM! my cranks spin over 3 or so times i jump off the bike just before I am about to go down. I pull the bike off the street and on to the sidewalk and I think my chain just jumped off my front sprocket (happens alot on my bike because I have a cheap sprocket) as I look down i notice I HAVE NO CHAIN! i look out into the street and its laying there so i run out and get it. one link later and a few minutes with my multi tool i get it back together but now ever so often it makes a clicky sound in gears about 5-6 (sram x-5 07) I can get you more info if you need it but my main question is should i keep riding on this chain? or should i get another one? because I was going to commute to work tomorrow on my bike but I don't want it to blow up on the ride.

Ps. Sorry for the lengthy response but also I noticed my downshifting was sluggish so I put a few clicks of tension on the chain (at the shift pod) so I dont know if that helps at all but thanks again
