I yanked all components out for overhauling and re-lubing, stripped the Paramount down to bared metal and acid clean, had it powder-coated for durability, had JR Anderson made the decals, and then I put 10 coats of clear on top myself. I thought very hard about putting only late 80s components on it but decided that this Paramount will be driven hard and need just a little updating w/o sacrificing it's characteristic and to be able to hangout with the lighter modern bikes. Hence a little the newer components.

It was already set to 130 when I got the bike!
The most enjoyable part of this old bike for me was the process of putting it all back together and knowing it will continue to be enjoyed for a very long time.

Thanks for complements. Every bikes on here are wonderful and very enjoyable to look at.
