That is terrible!

It's good to see that you'll mend up decently in the end, and I hope you get everything you are due in court (lots)

a year or two ago I got rear ended in an empty parking lot, broad daylight, riding straight. Stupid stupid stupid. They are too lenient with licenses nowadays.

My rear wheel got tucked under the front of their car, (toyota camry) and my ankle got kinda torqued under there a little bit too. I got free and managed to crack the windshield a little bit with my carcass, then roll off to the side. She (high school girl) was really apologetic and nice about it, and took me to LBS and paid for a new wheel/tire/tube and helmet, then gave me a ride home, I was a little shooken up for a day or two. When I got back onto ride, i realized the frame was a little bent. The bike got traded for a nice cruiser a year later. Was my first commuter.

I'm just glad it was a camry and not an escalade or tahoe or something, i would have been smushed between car and pavement/bike
