i agree i love my roof rack, plus i ski so honestly its the best option for me. i've used my friends trunk racks and i find them to be far less aesthetically appealing and they just don't seem to hold the bike nearly as securely as the roof rack i've got.

Same here. Small car too. I have an Outback Sport and carry skis, flyrods (just between one spot and another without breaking it down), bikes, kayaks, lumber, etc.
I have a garage, but I can't get my car in it. It is basically a wood working shop.
