Sheesh. The personal time trialers are out this week. Yesterday I noticed a roadie kinda far behind me but blowing stop signs and gradually getting closer. I diverted from the MUP onto a parallel street, slowed down, then at the next cross street I waited for him to go by on the MUP, and came out behind him. Eventually he figured out I was back there and spun up from 17MPH to 24MPH (by my computer). I stayed with him until we parted ways about 3 miles later. He didn't maintain 24 for long.

This morning, same sort of thing, except this kid was on an older road bike and couldn't go as fast as yesterday's roadie. 18MPH tops. We split up, and I was at a red light and he came up behind me. I took the faster route there. I turned to say hi and he completely blew off the red light. I waited for the green then reeled him in on the hill after the light.

Fast ride today. *giggle*
