I was at Big Fat Burrito when an older dude on a mountain bike got hauled over for going down Augusta the wrong way (like *everyone* else does) - the cops were in an unmarked minivan.
Would be interesting to see how skewed the numbers are, but I guess it's encouraging nonetheless, too bad they can't/don't enforce the stuff as more of a routine.
I also wish I wouldn't have to read "Senior in hospital after being struck walking against a light late at night" stories that seem to be ever so popular now

I jaywalk like everyone else does, but **** people keep your wits about you - you don't walk against a light at 10:30pm when you're 75 and traffic is evidently still flowing.

A friend of mine was in BFB and saw similar events. Personally, I only saw one cop hiding behind a post on Queen West. And yeah, heads up for some folks. In the last couple of days I've seen young teens swerving and grooving around in front of traffic that made me cringe. Not particularly good riders, just totally oblivious. I thought one chimp was going to get greased.
