My Serotta now has 2005 Campy Chorus 10 speed. New paint. A woundup fork and new American Classic 420 wheels. I expect it to be ridden for decades to come...
All the responders on the Serotta forum website say the same thing, except for one. There are always exceptions. Go for it.
