Legendary... Rennick hits a 5-er!

I've seen a few of the crazy "let's ride anywhere" kids around, not too much - the 'regular' commuters along College are challenging enough at times though Just heard a kid got struck pretty hard yesterday because he was cornering on the wrong side of the road I wish parents would at least say "stay on the sidewalk, keep your helmet ON" if they can't be bothered to teach proper road safety to their kids... Life is so precious!

Skipped the DSR stuff last night, wasn't feeling fantastic once I got home, and the wind kinda bummed me... decided just to sleep

I'll definitely come in on Saturday, Mike - the creaking *might* be my pedal, I'm worried in case it's because I had a curb strike on my crank the other day and something went wrong that I've not seen, the chainring is tight on the spider, as it was found loose last Friday when I was checking it on the train (that was scary to find )

I really need to practice re-adjusting pedal position before curb hopping... sometimes I forget in the heat of the moment and fumble my way through. Either way, my black IRO cranks now have lovely metallic scratches on the ends of them after being in the Don on Saturday and the last curb strike

My drivetrain isn't super quiet, as I run a 1/8" chain on my 3/32" cogs, but it works fine - and is still pretty quiet compared to regular bikes. Some slack is definitely not a bad thing, but I've had it slack enough to throw my chain a few times already when hopping tracks, etc. - so you definitely do learn that sweet spot - I'm still learning
