go with the allez (assuming it fits). 105 blows sora out of the water, and the frame will last for years. for 5 bills you'll have a bike as good as anything you'll need. (don't tell anyone, but 105 is race worthy gear, and that's coming from a campy geek.) as long as you're not jumping curbs or weigh 250# aluminum fatigue is a non issue.
