I don't know if talking about this old road bike qualifies to be in this forum. I imported this bike to the US from Singapore late 1980s. It has the word Motioncraft transferred on the seat and down tubes, and a stem decal that also says Motioncraft. On the seat tube there's a sticker that says: "Champion No. 5, Chrome Molybden Steel, Seamless P.G. Tubes, Tange Industries Ltd." The drop handle bar, gears, gear shifters, derailleurs and other components are Shimano, but I don't know which group or model. The seat tube will take a 26.0 seat post. Does anyone know anything about this bike -- manufacturer, country of origin, current market value, etc.? Googling yields nothing...

I'm thinking of replacing some of the components and would appreciate any information on specifications, especially of the Shimano parts.
