Hi,
At the end of the summer in August, my family will be flying down south to visit my grandma in San Juan Capistrano near Laguna Beach (just over 500 miles from here in Guerneville, Sonoma County). I'm planning on riding my bike there, and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what a good route to take would be? Also, how long do you think it would take to make a trip like that? I'm not sure what a good daily distance would be, like 60 miles/day?

If you have any suggestions, or know some websites that I could check out for tips, that would be great! I'm fairly new to the bicycling world, and have a lot to learn still.
