the reason why I ask is because I have ridden a couple of different Alum frames with a carbon forks and they where very hard rides ( nothing comared to my steel caborn which comfortable ). Now I have seen posting where poeple talk about what a comfortable ride their alum bike is and that is makes little sense to buy a carbon when you can make the alum bike just as comfortable with a good set of wheels and seat/post.
