Ok, so I was able to answer my own question. I contacted John Howard by way of his web sight and well believe it or not he answered me. Through his email and some digging I found out that Dave Moultin made frames for John Howard in 83 and 84 but that his contract ran out that year. SOoooooo John Howard moved his operation overseas and the bike was "handmade" in Taiwan in 1985. So whats it all mean?

I don't know...I have this pink bike. Do I paint it or would it be considered classic and thereby be left as is. The pink doesn't bother though it has gotten a few looks. I am way too old to be woring about things like that, I just think it would be nicer looking if it was say hunter green...any thoughts?
