its got a nice mix. you can park on the 17k side. there is a road i know it by just driving there but i want to say "Ridge road" on the left hand side going up 17k. there is a parking lot just over the 84 overpass. that gives you access to the 3 access roads into the land.
I park on the 207 side, there is a DED Checkpoint for hunters. nice parking lot and access to all the trails as well and is very close to the wooded trails and not just the old access roads (loose gravel/old paved paths)
I find it very enjoyable, a few weeks ago Darkhorse racing had an event there. And Ive ridden that path a few times about 8 or so miles of pure wooded trails. very fun, being an amateur rider i find it a bit hard with lots of small power spots and very few downhills.
There are also a handful of other smaller access trails that lead off for miles of trails. I think i read somewhere there is 1000 miles of trails? im sure its super exagerated but ive spent many 3-4 hour sessions in the place and never run out of new paths
