From: I am currently playing 2 months on the national tour of Annie, and starting Feb '10 will be playing 18 months on the national tour of Beauty and the Beast; my stuff lives in a storage unit in Northridge, CA and at a buddy's house in Cedar City, UT :)

Bikes: 2006 Dahon Speed P8 (currently in storage); Bike Friday Season tikit (with all the bells and whistles) :)

Question about switching bikes

Hi,

I have a pretty nice 2006 Dahon Speed P8, but as a touring musician, this bike is kind of a hassle to lug around and pack/unpack (I'm typically on the road 8 months at a time, bus & plane...). I'm considering switching to a BF Tikit, but I'm trying to figure out the best way to go about this... do I 1) put the P8 up on ebay (what on earth would the shipping be like for a 20" folder? :-/ ) or 2) is there a way to possibly trade (plus $, of course)?

p.s. or I may wait around for the Curl that I've read about here... thoughts on that?
