Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

Shimano cranks have the chainrings installed with the engraving on the large chainring facing out but the small (or middle and granny rings on a triple) are installed with the engraving facing in.

Campy cranks have all rings installed with the engraving facing out.
