body protesting too much this morning, but after telling myself there would be days like this, I managed to get on the bike. was sore, since I was supposed to rest this weekend, but rode both days. and then was at work until midnight last night (didn't ride, since don't have headlight yet)
The first 1/2 of my ride, about 5 miles, was slow and I did not seem to have much energy, but around 1/2 way, I started feeling much better, and was able to really power through the final part of my ride, which is a short but steep hill that tapers to a gradual slope-I hit this part better than I have in all my time commuting (all 1.5 months

)
What started as a slower time ended up being my best morning time, around 36:45 for the 10 miles.
I readjusted my derailleurs and shifters over the weekend, and cleaned them to boot, and it made a huge difference!
oh yeah-warm, about 73*F, and humid. Damp roads from light mist overnight.
