You're going to have to do some math. A 17 degree stem is only level for a 73 degree headtube. Most track bikes (real track bikes) have 74-75 degree headtubes. So you'd need either a 15-16 degree stem if you want it level.

That said, you probably won't notice a 1-2 degree difference. You'll be able to see it, but only a little.
