This isn't A&S, it's Commuting, and we're pragmatists here. As someone posted above, it all depends on where you're going, how you're going, the road, the path, the time of day.

In Sacramento we're blessed with the American River Bike Trail. On weekday mornings, it's a regular bike highway and brings hundreds of bike commuters from the eastern suburbs to downtown. On weekend mornings, it's a freakin' zoo: dogwalkers, rollerbladers, wobbly toddlers on training wheels, and potbellied MUP racers. I tend to avoid the ARBT on the weekends.
