Clipping out is no problem, of course. Been thinking of switching to Crank Bros. Egg Beaters for the fixed gear bike. Anyone here tried Egg Beaters, esp. on a fixed gear bike? Good idea, or not?

OMG I can't imagine using clipless with a fixed gear bike! I've never even thought about THAT scenario.

I really hate clipless pedals. I've thought about trying to modify a pair of cleats so they don't snap in so tight. I wonder if anyone's tried this. I suppose I should just get a set of platform pedals and get it over with.

Anyway, thanks for the story, it really made me laugh.
