Hi everyone
I've been biking, off and on, for about 30 years. I've recently retired, at 62 of age, and currently planning a USA tour and this will lead to a world tour. My bike is a BLT(Bruce Gordon). I'm currently outfitting this for the equipment needed for my tour, starting in Spring of 05. I am not into mileage, what I do care about is moving thru the county and , on a daily basis, experiencing whatever the day, country, and what it's people have to offer. No rush, no schedule, no clockwatching. "what can I get out of todayl." It's all about that, not how many miles I did, or how hard I worked, it's about the trip, how I got there, not how fast I got there. People are an important focus of my travels. I am single and straight as a arrow, I don't do the resort hopping bit, I camp and cook. With the occasional motel, hostel, pension for sanity sakes. And while I'm ranting, I'm looking for a travel mate with simliar ways and interest. It'll be fun, no doubt about it TourKing
